Location

Kirriemuir is a busy and prosperous market town in the county of Angus, 19 miles north of Dundee and 6 miles from Forfar. It developed in the 18th century as a weaving town but is now a popular and picturesque destination for tourists coming to visit the home of the creator of “Peter Pan” and the nearby Glamis Castle. It is regarded as the gateway to the attractive Glens of Isla, Clova and Prosen which are also popular with tourists and walkers. J M Barrie, the author of Peter Pan and other novels was born and is buried in Kirriemuir. The author is commemorated by a statue of Peter Pan in the town square.
Directions

Follow the A90 northwards from Dundee and at Forfar, follow the A926 west to Kirriemuir. The Plot is on North Mains Road Lane which leads off the Glamis Road to the south of the town.
